Golf Datatech Releases New Consumer Study – Trading In Old & Purchasing Used Clubs

Serious Golfers Opinions and Experiences…Conducted in early 2016 with over 1,600 serious golfers, this Golf Datatech study delves into the Consumers Opinions & Experiences to better understand the Serious Golfers’ awareness, opinions and experiences with trading-in golf equipment including value perceptions and satisfaction levels of the experience.  Summary of the findings include awareness, interest, completing the trade and where they trade.

In addition, this 206-page study examines the pre-owned/used golf club purchase habits and experiences.  This includes buyer motivation, where purchasing, frequency and types of clubs purchased.

Objectives

Understand the Serious Golfers’ awareness, opinions and experiences with trading-in golf equipment including value perceptions and satisfaction levels of the experience.

In addition, examine the pre-owned/used golf club purchase habits and experiences.

Methodology

Over 1,600 Golf Datatech Serious Golfers participated in an online research study in the first quarter of 2016.  A total of 775 respondents indicated experience with trading-in golf equipment in the past and a total of 1,153 purchased pre-owned/used equipment at some time, these serious golfers make up the basis for the analysis.

All respondents were entered into a random drawing for golf merchandise.
