John Krzynowek, Partner
Prior to joining Golf Datatech, LLC in 1999 John spent over 13 years in executive marketing positions with golf equipment companies Spalding/Top Flite and Tommy Armour Golf. John has extensive background in consumer marketing and research, having spent much of his pre-golf industry career in brand marketing with package goods leader Cadbury-Schweppes. John has an MBA from Babson College and lives and works in the Chicago area.
Dave Overmyer, Partner
Dave brings over 35 years of golf industry experience to the Golf Datatech’s management team. Dave was Vice President of Marketing for Titleist/FootJoy for nine years prior to co-founding Golf Datatech, LLC. Previous to that, he held marketing and sales management positions at MacGregor Golf, as well as spending time in the specialty golf retailer space. Dave has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and lives and works in Mattapoisett, MA.
Tom Stine, Partner
Before launching Golf Datatech Tom was the co-founder and publisher of Golfweek Magazine. He served as part of the executive team that launched The Golf Channel and is part owner/operator of multiple golf courses in Central Florida. Tom has a degree in journalism from the University of New Mexico and lives and works in Stuart, FL.
Phillip Barnard, Partner
In 1996 after obtaining his Mechanical Engineering degree from Imperial College, Phil identified the need for value based management systems and support within the golf industry. Working as the IT Manager for Crossover Technologies he began developing electronic point of sale software systems. In 2003, Phil became Managing Director of Crossover Technologies as Crossover became the leading retail audit provider operating over the United Kingdom and Europe. In 2005, Phil and Golf Datatech U.S. formed a new company, Golf Datatech Europe, LLC. Golf Datatech Europe now provides retail audit reports for the golf industry covering the United Kingdom and Sweden. Phil is married and lives outside Bristol, England.
