Pro Shop Participation

Can additional shops participate in the network?
Golf Datatech continues to add shops strategically to each region of the country. Shops wishing to participate must have a point-of-sale inventory control software program that is compatible with Golf Datatech. A list of those we work with follows. It only takes a few seconds at the end of the month to create a file with shop sales and inventory through the systems. Each shop is paid $100 when they join the network and $10 each month thereafter.

More importantly, each participating shop receives a Monthly Retail Market Share Report back from Golf Datatech. The report includes the industry trends with market share and average selling prices for the best selling models. This information is provided in a national report as well as for your region of the country. This hard sales data provides reliable insight into what is selling and what is not... and at what prices. It is what shop managers and buyers need to improve profit margins and control inventory.

What information is needed?
The product description, # of units sold, total sales dollars or average selling price for each SKU, # of units in inventory at month end. Golf Datatech does not collect any cost or margin data. Product categories that we track are: golf balls, woods, irons, wedges, putters, golf shoes, gloves, and golf bags.
