Before founding Golf Datatech, Tom served as part of the executive team that launched The Golf Channel and is part owner/operator of multiple golf courses in Central Florida.
Tom has a degree in journalism from the University of New Mexico and lives and works in Stuart, FL.
Phil started Xpos, the UK and Europe’s leading golf ePOS system provider, in 2003. His passion for data lead to a collaboration with Golf Datatech in 2006.
Phil became a full Partner in 2017. He leads the data team to create retail analysis and insights for the golf industry covering the US, UK, Sweden, Germany and France. Phil has an engineering degree from Imperial College London.
Golf Datatech was established in 1995 as the golf industry’s premier source of accurate and timely data on retail sales, inventory, pricing and distribution of golf products. In 1999, we expanded into consumer research through syndicated and proprietary studies utilizing our unique expertise and knowledge of the golf industry, ultimately developing and utilizing our exclusive and proprietary database of Serious Golfers.
In 2005, we extended our reach into Europe, forming a strategic partnership and began producing retail golf research for the United Kingdom. Over the next five years, we expanded into major markets in Europe, producing monthly sales data for Sweden, Germany and France.
John Krzynowek, Tom Stine and Phil Barnard have over 100 years of combined experience in research, sales and marketing of golf products and golf media all around the world.
