Objectives

The 2024 Custom Fitting of Golf Equipment study expands on prior studies of this category (conducted in 2001, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015 , 2018, 2021 and 2023), and where appropriate tracks the trends over time. The 2024 study is designed to provide a framework for understanding the evolution of golf club custom fitting, with a deep dive into irons, drivers, and wedges.

Methodology

Utilizing the Golf Datatech database of Serious Golfers, an online survey was conducted to gain insights into Serious Golfers who have been custom fit at least once in their golfing life…many of them multiple times.
